What kind of game is Roliup?
Roliup is about one thing: getting a rolling marble to the goal, fast and in one piece. It belongs to the family of marble tilt games, the tradition of the wooden labyrinth board and the classic arcade marble rollers, rebuilt for a phone with honest gameplay. There is no story, no energy system and nothing to wait for; a level takes seconds to minutes, so it fits a bus ride as well as an evening.
How do you play Roliup?
In the 2D world you look down on the course and steer by tilting your phone. In the 3D world you dive into the arena and steer with one finger. You can switch worlds at any time; each keeps its own progress, and your coins are shared between them. Finish a group of levels to open the next one. Every level awards up to three stars for beating its time thresholds, and the tightest times take practice. Perfect runs earn coins, which you can spend to skip a level you are stuck on. Along the way you meet bouncy walls, holes, teleporters, pulsing hazards and the night expeditions.
Is Roliup free?
Yes. The free game stands on its own: 212 of the 374 levels, which is more than half of both worlds, with no time limit. One single purchase, Roliup Deluxe, unlocks every remaining group in both worlds. On Android it also removes the ads the free version shows between levels; the iPhone version has no ads in the first place. There is no subscription and there never will be. See the FAQ for the details.
Speedruns, replays and video export
Speedruns chain a whole group into one timed run: beat your record, then beat it again. Every winning run is recorded, so you can replay your best line or export it as a video to share.
Why we built it
Our goal was simple to state and hard to do: build the best marble game we could, one that respects your time. Our vision is a game you can pick up for thirty seconds or for an hour, offline, without an account and without ever being nagged. We hope Roliup can become the marble game people recommend to each other.
