Roliup: frequently asked questions

Short, complete answers about Roliup, the physics marble game for iPhone and Android by Agnaes Software: whether it is free, whether it has ads, whether it works offline, how many levels it has and what the one optional purchase, Roliup Deluxe, includes.

What is Roliup?

Roliup is a physics skill game for iPhone and Android by Agnaes Software. You tilt or drag a marble through 374 handcrafted levels in two worlds, 2D and 3D, as fast as you can and in one piece.

Is Roliup free?

Yes. 212 of the 374 levels are free, with no time limit, and the free game stands on its own. One optional one-time purchase, Roliup Deluxe, unlocks the remaining level groups in both worlds.

Does Roliup have ads?

The free Android version shows ads between levels; buying Roliup Deluxe removes all of them. The iPhone version contains no ads at all.

Is there a subscription?

No. There is no subscription and there never will be. The only purchase in Roliup is Roliup Deluxe, a single one-time unlock.

Does Roliup work offline?

Yes, completely. Roliup plays offline from start to finish. You need an internet connection only to download it from the store, to buy Roliup Deluxe, and, on the free Android version, for the ads.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account, no sign-in and no registration. On iPhone your progress is kept in your own iCloud so it survives a new phone; on Android it is backed up with the system's app backup.

How many levels does Roliup have?

374 handcrafted levels: 240 in the 2D world and 134 in the 3D world. They are organised in nine groups per world, plus two night branches in the 2D world. The levels page lists them all.

How many levels are free?

212, which is more than half of the game: the first five groups of the 2D world, the first two groups of the Night Expedition branch, and the first four groups of the 3D world.

What does Roliup Deluxe include?

Every remaining level group in both worlds, including the night branches, opened permanently with one purchase. On Android it also removes all ads. Groups you had already opened for free stay open, and the first Deluxe group opens immediately so you continue instead of replaying.

How do I control the marble?

In the 2D world you steer by tilting your phone; the game reads the tilt sensor and you can calibrate the resting position. In the 3D world you steer with one finger by dragging to carve your turns. Nothing else is needed: no buttons, no virtual joystick.

Which devices does Roliup run on?

iPhones running a current iOS, from the App Store, and Android phones from Google Play. Tablets are not a target: the 2D world needs a device you comfortably tilt.

Which languages does Roliup support?

English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, in the game and in the store listings.

Can I replay or share a run?

Yes. Every winning run is recorded. You can replay your best line and export it as a video to share. Speedruns chain a whole group into one timed run with its own record.

Is Roliup suitable for children?

Roliup has no story, no violence, no chat, no social features and no account. It is a skill game about steering a marble. For a formal age rating, see the store listing; parents decide, and on the free Android version the ads are the one thing to be aware of.

Who makes Roliup?

Agnaes Software, the independent studio of Karl Kegel in Dresden, Germany, founded in 2026. Roliup is its first game.

Where can I download Roliup?
